Music of Chopin has been a large and important part of my life. Working on a vast Chopin’s repertoire with my teacher Vera Gornostayeva allowed me to explore Chopin’s music in depth and to realize what makes Chopin so uniquely different from other composers. It took me many years to understand challenges of how to perform Chopin and it’s still a journey that takes new turns and presents new discoveries as I move along.
Needless to say that Chopin continues to be highly appreciated by the audiences across the globe with many Chopin Societies established worldwide.
I’ve been a guest to some of them including Hannover, (Germany), Strasbourg (France), Warsaw (Poland), Tokyo (Japan) as well as in USA – Atlanta, GA, St. Paul, MN, and The Chopin Foundation of the USA in Miami, FL.

I am proud to serve as a member of the Artistic Advisory Committee for the Chopin Foundation of the United States.
I am deeply grateful to Lady Blanka Rosenstiel, President & Founder for her dedication to Chopin Heritage and for her enormous contribution in supporting and cherishing new generations of young American pianists.
Having served several times as a judge of the National Chopin Competition and as a faculty of the Frost Chopin Academy at the University of Miami, I’ve realized what an amazing difference the great cause of the US Chopin Foundation makes for those kids.
I am also grateful to my friend-colleague pianist Kevin Kenner, Professor at UM, Artistic Director of the Frost Chopin Academy – for his dedication and partnership.
